Do you have any tips about what drawings make the best Happy Doodles?
Your Happy Doodle will look like your drawing, but huggable! Colors will be very close if not identical, and high resolution images work best. If the character has very narrow arms, legs or other appendages, we will make those parts a bit wider so that the toy can be stuffed.
How can I specify which part of a drawing I want made into a Happy Doodle?
If there is more than one character on the page, just let us know which one you want us to make into a Happy Doodle (for example, "the starfish on the left" if the picture has two starfish). There is a comment section on the ordering page where you can enter special instructions. If there is more than one character on the page, and if you don’t specify one character, we will assume that you want the entire picture made into a Happy Doodle.
Can you change the background color or remove lines from lined paper?
Sure! You can enter special requests in the comment section on the ordering page.
How do I get my artwork to you?
The best way is to scan your artwork and upload it on the ordering page.
Can I take a picture of the drawing and email it to you?
Yes. Please make sure that the colors look right in the photo and use the highest resolution that you can.
What if I don’t have a way to scan or take a picture of my artwork?
You can mail it to us, and we will take good care of it and return it with the Happy Doodle. Please include a note with your name and order number, and don't write on the back of the picture because it may show through the front of the drawing. Our address will show up after you place your order, or you can find it on our contact page.

How big will my Happy Doodle be?
A large Happy Doodle is approximately 18” in its bigger dimension, either length or width, and about 4” thick. A medium Happy Doodle is about 12" long or wide, and 3" thick. Keychains, backpack decorations and ornaments are about 4" high or wide, and 1/2" thick. Since Happy Doodles are made in the shape of the character that a child draws, they are of irregular shape and size.
What are Happy Doodles made of?
The artwork is digitally printed on soft cotton. The printing does not change the soft feel of the fabric. Happy Doodles are backed with incredibly soft fleece, and stuffed with polyester fiberfill.
Can I wash my Happy Doodle?
We recommend that you spot clean your Happy Doodle with warm water and mild soap, and air dry. The fabric is colorfast and will not run or smudge, but machine washing and drying may cause the stuffing to shift.
Gift Certificates
How will I receive my gift certificate?
We will create a gift certificate for you and you can choose to have it emailed to you for you to print or forward, or printed and mailed to your shipping address.
How can I redeem my gift certificate?
On your gift certificate is a unique coupon code that you can enter during the ordering process. The gift certificate includes one Happy Doodle in any size that you select (keychain, 12" toy or 18" toy). The recipient will pay for shipping when they redeem their gift certificate.
Ordering and Shipping
How long will it take to get my Happy Doodle?
Every Happy Doodle is custom made by hand. We ask that you allow three weeks (an additional week for shipping outside US and Canada) but we will get it to you faster if at all possible. Please allow extra time for holiday gifts as we cannot guarantee processing and shipping times.
How are Happy Doodles shipped?
We ship via US Postal Service in the US, and via US Priority Mail International outside the US.
How can I find out if my Happy Doodle has shipped?
We will email you with a tracking number when your Happy Doodle is shipped. Please contact us if you are concerned about your Happy Doodle and we will let you know where we are in the process of creating it.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
No. Sales taxes are included in our pricing.
